Lehi's Tree

The supplies I use can be found on Suggestible Items page.

1 Nephi 8

Here we have Lehi's vision of the Tree of Life. I love all the symbolisms that are in this chapter. There is so many things we can learn from Lehi's dream. Somethings to get your study going is asking questions, why did Lehi have this dream? What does the Iron Rod really mean? How does the spacious building portray in our modern world? When Lehi calls his sons to come towards him and partake of the tree, why doesn't Laman and Lemuel go? Lehi has helped me in so many ways. If this great man, who is a prophet of God had sons go astray then I cannot put the blame on myself as my sons have gone astray even though I have taught them in righteousness as Lehi had taught his sons. I could write a book on all the things we can learn from Lehi's dream. Dig in, search, study and enjoy this great, of many, chapters in this book.

Lots of clipart on these pages. I wanted lots of pictures on these pages as we read about Lehi's dream. I printed all the pictures except the main one, on white sticky paper. The larger picture I printed on Velum paper. I love this large picture! I then took cardstock and created a boarder on the page. I then cut different shapes and sizes of triangles and glued them where I wanted, all over the boarder. I added the big picture using tiny brads. I then added a title using white sticky paper and flowers as accents. Don't forget to mark your scriptures. I wrote the verse numbers on the pictures also. I love the color green and feel it goes great with the large picture on top.
